The Treatment of Eating Disorders

If you or a loved one is suffering from an eating disorder it is important to remember that there is hope and you are not alone.

The women who come to The Victorian have been suffering from bulimia nervosa, anorexia nervosa, or have been binge eating and need help to stop. The women have been judged and hurt by their loved ones while also while also causing others pain. The cycle of an eating disorder is one of shame, confusion, and low self esteem. The Victorian is an intimate and caring escape that will allow women to arrest their eating disorder, look within, learn about what causes them to behave in certain ways, and forge a pathway to change.

The women who guide The Victorian's female clients on their path to healing are all well versed in treating the whole person, not just the eating disorder. There will be an initial assessment that will provide an understanding of the woman's complete life and address issues like family, culture, and social experiences.3 girls in therapy
