The Victorian is the Beginning of a Life Free from
Eating Disorders and Addiction
With our 23 years of experience helping women to stop anorexia, bulimia, compulsive overeating, as well as recover from alcoholism and drug addiction in Orange County California, we have seen that there is a direct positive correlation between time spent in a supportive recovery environment and long term abstinence from an eating disorder. In fact, time spent in a treatment center like the Victorian of Newport Beach is the most favorable indicator of sustained recovery from eating disorders as well as alcoholic drinking or drug abuse.
Many of the women who begin to build a new life free of eating disorders at The Victorian in Newport Beach continue their treatment program by participating in other "tracks" offered by our greater network of treatment centers that are entirely located in Orange County, CA. Women who have completed the first four phases of the Victorian's eating disorder treatment program have begun to feel good about themselves build the self esteem that makes them want to "jump back into life." We have programs that will allow the woman to get the help and guidance she will need to successfully integrate back into society while living in the vibrant recovery community of Newport Beach and maintaining long term abstinence from bulimia nervosa, anorexia nervosa, binge eating, and compulsive overeating.
Our parent facility's Extended Care Program is a long term rehab for women that continues the woman's individualized recovery program with daily treatment activities including educational and supportive therapeutic processes. The woman will live in a very nice home with other recovering individuals while continuing to have her recovery program tracked by our staff of eating disorder experts. The woman will have fun and also continue her education by attending mandatory:
- addiction workshops
